First, thank you so much for backing our first project, the Character Crate, almost a year ago. That was our big break and we are forever grateful to you for supporting us!

Hi Friends!
Just wanted to shoot out a quick heads up. Yesterday we shipped the last few Character Crates; to replace the ones damaged in the mail, or to those of of you who we had missing data from BackerKit.
This is most likely our final update for the project. Thank you all so much for your support and for your faith in us!
Now, we promise not to spam you. But, we will probably send out an update to you all when we launch our next project (we hope thats ok with you :).

BackerKit Issue

Hello Friends,
We have discovered an issue. The data export that BackerKit sent us did not include any of the extra Character Crates you purchased IN BackerKit. So, there are about 20 of you who are receiving only partial orders (just the Kickstarter part of things). This is just as frustrating for us as it is for you. Sorry we never caught this issue, they sent us all the info for extra artwork, leather linings, t-shirts, but not extra Character Crates.....
So, The Plan. We'll send the extra Character Crates by the end of September. We are sincerely sorry for the delay. Right now we are in the midst of preparing for Salt Lake ComicCon. Once we've survived that, we'll get those packages to you ASAP.
Again, so sorry for this delay. Thank you for your patience and understanding with this hiccup.

Hello Friends!
We delivered all of the Character Crates to the shipping company today!!!
If you didnt read the update on Aug 10, I would recommend doing so. There are some DIY instructions there.
Finally, we expect during shipping that the wood will absorb some of the finish we've applied. If there are some "dry" spots on your character crates, do not fear. Simply apply a little oil or finish of your choice to restore the natural beauty of the wood. The character crate will require some time and love on occasion.
